Who we are

Manila Reinsurance Brokers Corporation or “MRB” for short was incorporated 30 years ago on April 03, 1991 and is majority owned by Mariano S. Manas, Jr. and his family.

Mariano S. Manas, Jr. is a former Senior Executive in the Ayala Group of insurance companies. He has been a long time insurance/reinsurance practitioner with industry connections here and abroad.  A graduate of De La Salle University, he is a CPA by profession. He was at one time the chief of the Philippine Delegation to the East Asian Insurance Congress in Taipei. He was a member of the organizing committee of the East Asian Insurance Congress held in Manila in 2000. A multiple awardee as an entrepreneur, he is a recipient of an award in the search for the Entrepreneur of the Year (2003) given by Ernst & Young, the Agora Award from the Philippine Marketing Association, and the MVP Bossing Award given by PLDT.
